Weekly Journal
Last week I spoke at PHP[tek]. In between, I got to hang out with my "Normal Crew", as well as Nuno Maduro. We ate lots of unhealthy food, abused the open bar, and got feisty playing card games. It was great to see everyone and geek out for a few days.
On the way back, I returned to the Human Shifts which came in the week before. I still have a few more hours to go. So I will continue those this week.
Today I focused on getting the Shift support inbox to zero. These piled up a bit during the conference. Once I got going, I decided to review all the emails. If you're interesting in why, I posted a short Twitter thread as I worked through these to keep me motivated.
🔥 Tip
I didn't code much last week at the conference, so this week I have another soft tip - go outside. Well, at the least, step away from the computer. You gain a lot of perspective on whatever might be on your mind by simply taking 5 minutes.
